I’ve been helping people overcome their health issues for 25 years as a Physiotherapist. A realist at heart, I eat, sleep and breathe evidence-based science. So what led me to the “alternative” field of Breathing Retraining?
Seasonal hay fever, actually. Years ago, when I was loaded up with meds and still couldn’t spend time outdoors exercising or working in my rose garden, I looked outside standard medicine for relief. When I discovered Breathing Retraining, I felt the same way you probably do now — hopeful, intrigued, but honestly a bit dubious. Surely something as simple as breathing couldn’t fix my very real health problems... could it?
Well, after resolving my hay fever symptoms and coming off medication entirely, I changed my skeptical tune. And the scientist in me needed to understand why Breathing Retraining cured me, when nothing else could.
I worked through books and programs and eventually trained under Australia’s most recognised and experienced Breathing Educator, Tess Graham. The deeper I studied, the more I discovered that Breathing Retraining isn’t “alternative” at all — there are 50 years of rock-solid science behind it.
I now believe that the way we breathe has a profound impact on our quality of life and well-being. The power of the breath is significant, but the effects of poor breathing, even more so.

With a large family of my own, I'm conscious of the demands our modern lives place on each of us.
Combining my science background and deep knowledge of the human body with evidence-based breathing practices, my passion is to bring to the community these progressive programs that allow you to achieve lifelong change and benefit with a modest investment of time and energy.
I’ve worked with people who are 5 years old right through to 85 and every one of them has achieved a 'life-changing' improvement to their health.
